Hahn Agency, Inc. is a family owned and operated independent insurance agency with roots going back to the 1920’s. Hahn Agency is currently owned by two of the Founder’s Grandchildren, Robert J. Hahn and Marcia Hahn Johnson. Personal service is, and has always been, the trademark of Hahn Agency. All coverage questions, policy changes, and reporting of claims are personally handled by by Rob or Marcia. We have the advantages of a larger insurance agency through our affiliation with Meeker-Magner Company. Either direct or through Meeker-Magner, we have the access to many insurance companies that write Auto, Home, Commercial Property and Liability, Commercial Auto, Worker's Compensation and Umbrella coverage along with specialized coverage like Crime, Boiler & Machinery, Directors and Officers and any bond requirements you may have. We offer the best of both worlds, the personal service of a family owned insurance agency along with the clout and insurance company diversity of a larger insurance agency.

Every insurance company has a specific market or "niche" where they can provide the most competitive premium. Being an independent agency, we have the right markets for the right circumstances. We have the luxury of having access to markets that can address YOUR particular needs at the most competitive price.
Chubb Insurance Group Chubb provides a market for higher valued homes with a vary comprehensive contract providing additional coverage not found in a typical policy along with higher special limits of liability. This program addresses homes that require a higher, (and more expensive), level of workmanship in the reconstruction process. Fireman's Fund Fireman's Fund also targets higher valued homes with a contract that also provides additional coverage not found in a typical policy along with higher special limits of liability. The Fireman's Fund and Chubb contracts are of equal caliber. Hahn Agency represents both of these companies to make sure that we provide the most competitive premium for your higher valued home. General Casualty General Casualty is a regional carrier that is based out of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. We have found their home and auto program to be most competitive with individuals who have excellent credit. Their :"Cornerstone" homeowner's program provides many of the additional coverages found on the higher-end Chubb and Fireman's Fund contracts. Hartford Insurance The Hartford is most competitive with your mainstream home and auto coverage. Very competitive rates, including young drivers. Financially strong, and is the second largest insurance company in the US. Special rates through the AARP sponsored program are available through Hahn Agency. You can now have the advantage of AARP program rates with the additional advantage of having a local insurance agent to provide the personal service you demand. Indiana Insurance Indiana Insurance is part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group. Indiana is also a very strong market for mainstream home and auto coverage. Mercury Insurance Mercury Insurance is a California based insurance provider that is probably the largest company you have never heard of. Mercury is the number two company, in personal volume, in the State of California. In Illinois, they provide extremely competitive rates for young drivers AND very competitive rates in the City of Chicago. We all know of the "sticker shock" when adding a young driver to our auto policies, especially in the city.... Travelers Insurance Travelers Insurance provides a strong market for mainstream home and auto. We have found Travelers to be extremely competitive in some areas where other companies just can't seem to compete.

First Non-Profit First Non-Profit Insurance Company was created for United Way members to provide coverage for member Social Service Agencies. First Non-Profit specialize in providing comprehensive insurance programs for social service agencies operating on the "front lines". General Casualty General Casualty, though their "Marketplace" program provides comprehensive insurance products for "main street" businesses. In addition, General Casualty can tailor an insurance program per your operations. Of course, Hahn Agency would assist in providing the advice and expertise needed in order to "fine tune" your coverage with General Casualty and any other companies that we represent. Great American Great American specializes in providing Directors and Officers insurance for the profit and non-profit marketplace. They also have programs for certain classes of social service agencies along with programs for schools, day care centers and churches. Hartford Hartford Insurance, through their "Spectrum" program, provides extremely competitive property, liability, auto, worker's compensation and umbrella coverage for business like, Doctors Offices, Architects, Attorneys, Printers, Recording Studios, Wholesalers and Contractors. Indiana Indiana Insurance offers the specialized coverage for certain classes of business along with also having the capability of providing a customized insurance program for your business. Indiana Insurance is part of the Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, a leading provider of coverage in the US. Philadelphia Philadelphia provides very competitive coverage for markets similar to Great America, Non-profits, schools, camps and churches. We always approach both Philadelphia and Great American for these targeted classes of business to make sure that we provide the most competitive rate and program.. Travelers Travelers is one of the largest insurance companies in the US and provides programs and specialized coverage for many types of organizations Travelers has a program for IT service providers that is a leader in the field. Other Markets Last, but not least, Hahn Agency has developed a relationship with many General Agents that provide access to competitive specialty markets and "stand alone" worker's compensation programs to ensure that YOU are paying the most competitive premium.
